The Career Recognition Program seeks to recognize the achievements of women re-entering the workforce or women who have experienced an exceptional occurrence in their position. Through competition, this program will sharpen interviewing and public speaking skills.The Career Recognition Program recognizes the achievements of women who are new to the workforce as a result of a career change; who have earned an exceptional achievement/advancement in a position; or who have returned to the workforce after an absence of at least three years.

THIS IS THE CRITERIA FOR THE CANDIDATES

• Membership in good standing of a Local Chapter of New York State Women, Inc. is required at the time of competing at the State Level.
• No age restrictions
• One of the following:
  • Employed for a minimum of one (1) year, but less than three (3) years experience in the position.
  • Re-entry into the workforce after a three (3) year absence from employment.
  • Able to document an exceptional achievement or career advancement in their career in the last three (3) years.
  • Able to document an exceptional achievement in the area of education, civic duty or volunteerism in the last three (3) years
