Woman of the Year — during National Business Women's Week in October, BPW local organizations honor businesswomen of accomplishment in communities all across New York State. National Business Women’s Week National Business Women’s Week (NBWW) is held the 3rd Week in October. Since its launch in 1928, NBWW events have been sponsored by BPW for the purpose of recognizing and honoring the achievements of working women.

Scholarships are awarded annually by many of the local organizations and the State to women who are degree candidates at accredited colleges and universities.
